Hearts for Hope 2015

Once again, we had a wonderful turn out at our annual Hearts for Hope Gala, held in Mason. Hundreds of supporters and friends come together to recognize our volunteers and show their support of our mission here at Bluebonnet CASA. We were able tIMG_9843o raise funds to continue our help for kids throughout Mason, Menard, McCulloch and Kimble County.

Bluebonnet CASA extends their most sincere gratitude to all those who donated auction items, sponsored, attend the event and purchased auction items.THANK YOU to all who graciously purchased auction items. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Jeff Owen who volunteered his time and talent as our auctioneer. Without the help of our volunteers, friends group of Mason, Mason ISD students and our board members, this event would not have been possible. Many Thanks go to our “Friends,” Gladys Kaderka, Pattie Allen, , Brenda & Kenneth Kothmann, Linnda Graham, Janet Stubbs, Jennifer Barros,  Joyce Mutschink, Debbie Johnson, Thain Martin and Ronny Arnold. Everyone put so much hard work and dedication into our event every year and we can’t thank you enough for everything you do for our organization Our volunteers Judith Barton, Tom Gibbons, Jim Heidelberg, Anna Clevenger, Julie Gillespie, Deanna Handlin, Lisa Heath, Tana Hofmann, Max Gordon, Nancy Gordon, Ida Owens, Debbie Vickers, Judy McDonald, A.J. Paul, Holly Bryan, Nancy Jacoby and Glenda Lemke. Our board members Billy Johnson, Mark Krause, Connie Stockbridge, Janet Moran, Cindy McCoy, Debbie Vickers, Nol Dear, Holly Bryan & John Guerrero.

IMG_9852 IMG_9862 IMG_9864Thank you also goes to the Mason students who volunteered to work as wait staff and served all of our Gala guests and helped clean up; Luke Gillespie, Kate Gillespie, Bode McMillan, Spencer Bierschwale, Cheyenne Ivey, Kayla Guice, Susan Airheart, Alexis Bingham, Sandra Duarte, Frederico Rosas, Marisela Palacio and T R Kerr . These kids were very polite and willing to help in any way they could! Many of these people wore several hats in preparation for the Gala. They helped decorate, clean kitchen and dishes and serve. Bluebonnet CASA appreciates your hard work, support and for thinking of the children we serve.  We extend to you our most sincere thanks.

THANK YOU to the city of mason for allowing us to hold the event at the community building and using their tables. Thank you to Johnny and staff of Roma’s Italian Restaurant of Brady for preparing an amazing meal. Thank you to Claire Bell and Becker Vineyards for the wonderful wine, Larry & Janie Lindsay and Rick & Linda Hipsky for purchasing the beer for the event, Matthew Haley for delivering Bob and Marilyn Huntley’s tables for use, the Mason Volunteer Fire Department for ice chests and coolers, the Mason ISD Ag class for helping set up all the tables and chairs and Patrick with Webber’s Chevron for donating all the ice. We appreciate the great performance by the Drugstore Cowboys and a special thank you to the Clendenen Family and Kathleen for speaking to our guests during the fundraiser. Your words of encouragement are much appreciated.
